Get it wrong and the consequences are severe - which is why our health and safety systems are built into every stage of a project, from survey and design through erection, inspection, and dismantling. All scaffolding is erected, altered, and dismantled by CISRS-carded scaffolders. The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme is the recognised competence scheme for scaffolders, and CISRS certification confirms our operatives are trained, assessed, and competent for the work they carry out.
We produce full risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for every project, site-specific to the configuration, the building, and the working environment - including additional assessment for occupied sites, live-operation environments, fragile roofs, and working at height.
Every scaffold is inspected at handover and then subject to statutory weekly inspection throughout the hire period, with inspection records maintained and available to the client. Scaffolds are also inspected after any alteration and after adverse weather, in line with the Work at Height Regulations.
For configurations outside TG20:21 compliant good practice, scaffold design is produced by qualified external structural engineers, supported by calculations and design certificates. Independent structural design provides assurance that non-standard and high-load scaffolds are engineered to be safe before they are built.
